Wat ga je doen?
De organisatie heeft momenteel 6 scrumteams maar we groeien richting meer teams, werkende in sprints van 2 a 3 weken.
Zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werk je aan de applicaties die we intern ontwikkelen. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan het toevoegen van nieuwe functies aan de webshop(s) of het verbeteren van onze logistieke systemen. We werken continu aan verbeteringen! Als Senior in het team help je de teamlead met coachen van junior en medior developers.
De tech stack bestaat onder andere uit PHP 8.0, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Redis en MySQL 8. Natuurlijk worden deze up to date gehouden, maar staan ze altijd open voor innovatieve ideeën en technologieën. Wordt jij enthousiast van complexe migraties of ontwikkeling jij liever compleet nieuwe features? Dan ben je bij deze partij aan het goede adres. Symfony is de basis voor de backend code. Voor de frontend wordt Typescript gebruikt, het is fijn als je daar enige kennis van hebt maar zeker niet noodzakelijk. Daarnaast reserveren we tijd voor innovatiedagen. Op deze dagen mag jij tijd besteden aan innovatieve projecten die jou aanspreken. Laat je creativiteit los op de meest interessante vraagstukken en breng verbeteringen aan waar het hele bedrijf van profiteert. The sky is the limit.
De IT-afdeling bestaat op dit moment uit ongeveer 50 medewerkers, die samen over veel kennis beschikken. Hierdoor kun je blijven leren en is het mogelijk om door te groeien naar de functie van Lead Developer en technisch het voortouw te nemen binnen je scrumteam. De afdeling en de medewerkers groeien mee met de organisatie, onze groeidoelstelling is nu doorgroeien naar 10 scrumteams. Op de IT-afdeling heerst een informele sfeer: naast hard werken is er ook zeker ruimte voor gezelligheid.

Wie zoeken we?
• Je hebt minimaal hbo-werk- en -denkniveau.
• Voor Senioren: Je hebt minimaal 4 jaar ervaring als Senior Software Developer.
• Voor Mediors: Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als developer
• Voor Junioren: Je hebt 0 tot 2 jaar ervaring als developer
• PHP en SQL kennen geen geheimen voor jou.
• Objectgeoriënteerd programmeren is je tweede natuur.
• Kennis van TypeScript is een pré.
• Je hebt diepgaande technische kennis en analytisch inzicht.
• Je bent leergierig, ambitieus en deelt graag kennis.
• Je beheerst Nederlands en/of Engels uitstekend in woord en geschrift.

What are you going to do?
The organization currently has 6 SCRUM teams, gradually we are working towards more teams, working in sprints of 2 to 3 weeks.
You work both independently and in a team on the applications that we develop internally. Consider, adding new functions into webshop(s) or improving our logistics systems. We are continuously working on improvements! As a Senior in your team, you help the team lead with coaching junior and medior developers.

Currently the IT department consists of about 50 employees, all together there is a huge knowledge base which allows you to keep learning and possibly to grow into the position of Lead developer and technically take the lead within your scrum team. The department and the employees grow with the organization. The growth target is now to acquire 10 scrum teams. Within the IT department there is an informal atmosphere. Besides hard work there is certainly room for fun.

Who are we looking for?
• You have at least HBO (university of applied sciences) work and thinking level.
• For Seniors: You have at least 4 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer.
• For Mediors: You have at least 2 years of experience as a developer.
• For Juniors: You have 0 to 2 years of experience as a PHP developer and SQL hold no secrets for you.
• Object- oriented programming is second nature to you.
• Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
• You have in-depth technical knowledge and analytical insight.
• You are eager to learn, ambitious and like to share knowledge.
• Your Dutch and/or English are excellent in speech and writing.
